I never cared for her as Storm (I always thought it should've been someone with the exotic regal bearing of Iman, or even the haughty fierceness of Grace Jones). But I agree: she's one of the OG's. She absolutely should come back with the others. (and maybe this script will treat her better.)
Oh yeah, she’s never been my favorite. It was supposed to be Angela Bassett! BUT… that’s who was Storm in those movies, and reuniting all the lead men and leaving out the lead women (except the one who’s naked) is so shitty. The optics of that are terrible.
…and also, with Gambit, Beast, Cyclops, and (almost certainly) Wolverine there, you miss out on the “break the internet” moment of having the OG cast in their iconic X-Men TAS costumes and that specific and beloved team roster.
