Yeah. It's so important for members to do our part to push for internal democracy. I think internal organizing is extremely important. I personally have a ton of passion for that work and supporting others working to reform their unions.

Yeah, it's really cool stuff!! Labor Notes (which focuses on this) is amazing and should be assigned reading in high school or something. I got one of their books for my birthday which talks about this
Some 5 or 6 years ago I remember my plucky little reform group attending labor notes trainings. We have completely reformed our union and were the first State of California civil servants union ever to go on strike in 2023. I will forever love labor notes.
That's great, congratulations! I love stories like that. As a writer, Labor Notes is also really impressive to me. A lot of leftist writing isn't accessible to working people, but they are somehow able to do powerful stuff with short, simple articles. It's a gold standard.
Their trainings and Jane McCalevey's organizing for power trainings were so essential to us at a time when we didn't have any grounding in real organizing beyond some general understanding of like political and social organizing.
