To be fair, the article linked in the original post has all of the net spend figures in, it's just the headline which quotes the £3bn gross figure. Net spend is £1,267m (and is broken down by club) Also the big 5 leagues: England £1,212M Italy £68.5M Spain £39.5M Germany -£157.4M France -£290.5M
