Just so you know the least metal thing is giving a fuck what other people consider 'real' metal. Does it make you feel something? Do you like it? Good, Like it with a whole heart and two fists - that's metal. What most 'metalheads' respect is your open passion for what you love, even if i hate it.

They are passionately hated by many, to be blunt. But who cares, I hate some shit that's really popular, I love some shit that's not. I had some kid tell me it wasn't metal if it didn't follow 'classical blah blah blah music theory' I laughed at him and said metal is "Weed, Satan, Horror movies."

I'm making a joke about how poorly Avenged Sevenfold is regarded. But you like what you like, fuck other people's choices. For me, the further you drift from SLEEP's 'Holy Mountain' the less metal you are. But everybody has their own measure.
