considering who's sending up the rockets, probably best to give up the moon for a couple generations until humanity matures otherwise the oligarchs will just try to make it into a giant billboard

Reminds me of the Cold War joke where the Russians paint the moon red, and the US president orders a mission to write "Coca-Cola" on it.
