I think he's in the hospital and they are covering it up. I suspect they are violating the constitution by not handing power to Vance. I suspect he is afraid of Vance declaring him incompetent and not giving it back.

I miss having a POTUS who didn't babble incomprehensibly. Obama's maybe not the most fair point of comparison, seeing as he's possibly the most skilled orator to hold office in my entire life, but we still could point to Clinton, Biden (even while tired and fighting his stutter), and Bush the Elder.

Same, only a few months after he was sworn in. Nixon was far worse than Reagan. Reagan was simply a puppet that lots of evil people on the far right knew how to pull the strings of. Nixon was actually incredibly evil himself.
