So there are big financial incentives to replace domain expertise with wildly incompetent LLMs, and the decisions that will be made about this stuff will mostly be made by people who have insufficient understanding of either, with an industry that actively preys on their ignorance.
Also I hate how they’re being set up to just remove self thought or interrogation. O was looking up this quote yesterday and Google’s ai suggestion just straight up tells you what to think about it
Don’t bother letting the words sit in your brain. Don’t engage with how you react to them. This is what it means, move on, click an ad, search something else.
Yeah, so much of it just thoughtlessly removes the meaning from some of our most human experiences. It sucks so much.
