I have to say, I wasn't as rabidly mad at Schumer as so many were the first time around. I thought it was a tough spot. For this one, well, I need to do, errr... my own research! :-D

I hope we don't have a shutdown. They are always bad. I don't trust this GOP congress to open anything back up. I also don't trust the Executive branch to decide what is "essential" and what isn't. I also don't want to see the courts run out of $$ and have to close up shop. All bad.

It's definitely complicated. But the GOP has been putting disastrous bills out there. It's difficult to calculate which one would end up being worse.
