Except it's sadly true: look at how milquetoast mainstream Dem defenses of trans people were then and are now, and what little spittle is being raised now that the Supreme Court is going to continue on retracting rights. The DNC isn't actively HOSTILE but it doesn't CARE beyond fundraising.
oh, it's definitely true. but a close presidential election isn't the time. and i know there are people who say the same but really they don't intend for there to be any time, but i promise i mean that literally any other time is ok, but during a close election season it's counter productive

figure. she decided to go out and say it. if she wanted to make a demand, that would be much different. probably the better approach

In the same vein, Kamala could've changed /her/ tone to be more strident (y'know, like Obama 2008) and taken advantage of the excitement that appeared when Biden got kicked to the curb but +shrugs+ didn't happen and now everyone blames everybody except themselves and, oddly enough, Trump voters
