I mean at this point developers don't even bother to make ports to either of the other PC platforms. i think apple could've made macs a decent platform for games many times, but they have a fundamental lack of respect for the medium at an institutional level that prevents this.
everyone just content to write a compatibility layer and be done with it, which is probably the correct decision to make.
