The ornitho bird has been on the BP hats the last couple years now, and players like it. But I definitely prefer the current cartoon bird and uniforms.

This is a different ornitho bird than what's on the BP hats. BP hats are like early 90s, and this one looks more like the ones from the late 2000s immediately before they switched back to the cartoon bird.

This is the ornitho bird that has been an alternate logo since 1999 but it appears as though they are soft launching it to be the primary logo

They put the 1989 bird on the pride night giveaway jersey and some other marketing stuff for the 2025 season, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it yet

It wasn’t the 1989 logo, it was the 1964/1965 cap logo, which is when the Equal Rights Amendment was ratified. It was very intentional.
