Guys, WEAPONS is fucking great. Zach Creggar is YOUNG which means we’ve got decades of his brilliance ahead of us. Yay!

Freaky AF! Soooo good! Amy Madigan is terrific!
Weapons isn’t “great.” Weapons is next-level bananas in a bonkers way I haven’t seen in ever. It’s my favorite film of the year.
Cool. I'm psyched!
Inspired. And an original story! More please.
That was such an amazing film! Fractured timeline like Pulp Fiction, which he used to full advantage!
Amy Madigan ist tatsächlich großartig! Ihre Rollen sind immer so faszinierend. Was gefällt dir an ihrer Darstellung in diesem Film?
Until Marvel gets him.
And then ...
I always get nervous when a movie is hyped up so much, but Weapons and Bring Her Back really delivered. It's also nice to be excited for a Resident Evil movie again.
It was so good! The end gave me big Sam Raimi vibes.
Just bought my ticket for Nobody 2 tomorrow. So much trump in the news, an appointment viewing of John Wick's uncle seems to be a good remedy.
I had fun with it... Also: Odenkirk... 2 years older than Keanu.
The very best. Saw opening night.
It is fucking great!
Spoken by someone underestimating my age.
Shh! You and the fantastic availability of effective recreational drugs could mess it up!
I’m glad Zach is getting the attention he deserves…and needs because he has attention deficit disorder
I'm hoping his Resident Evil is everything fans want. (also hoping it's one of those one for them, one for him deals so we keep getting more of his unique and original films)
Never thought the sound of a car door opening could be that terrifying. You could hear a pin drop in the theater.
Almost. The woman next to me almost yelled, “Oh what the fuuuuuck nooooooooo.”
There should never be a car in the theater.
What if it were a drive-in
Then you'd be at a drive in theater, not an indoor one.
True but you didn’t initially say indoor
I still don't know how they got that car in there.
The talented Amy Madigan as the Black Magik version of Katherine Helmond in the brilliant film by Terry Gilliam, Brazil.
He’s amazing in WKUK
We need more actors from sketch comedy making horror
Amen.
Seven? Seven hotdogs.
Benedict Wong and his husband? Seven hot dogs.
Felt compelled to share this interview if anyone is interested. About an hour long. Some spoilers near the end, but they go out of their way to announce them. m.youtube.com/watch?v=AVn5...
I’m fangirling hard
Great Film!!! Really enjoyed it!!! I’m excited for his take on Resident Evil next
Hear, hear!
Great performances in it.
Decades and if you will let me, GALLONs of (PCP) content!
Last time I saw gallons of PCP it was at a dead show in the 80s.
WOW. A whole gallon!
I didn't know it came in gallons!?
Knocked me for a loop!
Always knew one of the guys responsible for "Kid Beer" and "Shoshon the Elegant - The White Tiger King" would hit it big.
That last scene had the whole theater ROLLING. Incredible when a film can take a terrifying concept and flip the switch to make you laugh at it.
I can't help but think that I wish we could be saying that about Trevor Moore.
Director of sex robot! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Unless he encounters a centuries-old witch in a polyester pantsuit
Saw it with a friend, taking my husband tomorrow morning before he accidentally finds a pic of Gladys online. She's more fun as a surprise!
I'm going to my local family owned cinema to see it tonight 🙂
I had no expectations going in and didn't have a clue what to expect. I loved it.
One of my new favorites. I call it Flying Monkeys: The Movie.
It took me 5 minutes to place the villain as “Chanisse Kobalowski” from Uncle Buck!
I gasped aloud when Benedict Wong met the truck! 😱
trying so hard to avoid spoilers
I saw it last night and then spent today texting every horror fan I know, telling them to drop what they we’re doing and run with their arms straight out to the nearest theater.
I loved it! You are absolutely right it was fucking great and they were times when a little scream got stuck in my throat. That hasn't happened in a long time. Looking forward to more!
Unless we die..
Thanks for the reminder. WEAPONS: if you aren't planning to defend yourself on America's streets, anywhere, everywhere, anytime, you aren't thinking straight.
I want more Wrecked.
(writing in 1999) Guys, THE SIXTH SENSE is fucking great. M. Night Shyamalan is YOUNG which means we've got decades of his brilliance ahead of us. Yay!
I'm not a horror person, at all, but the fact that he produced, directed, wrote AND composed a movie that apparently is fan-fucking-tastic is incredibly impressive.
It was. And the trailers, for once, just teased enough of the story to draw us in.
The movie is great! Really fun thrill ride.
Going to see it today!
I’m unironically excited about his take on Resident Evil… Call me crazy but I like subtle, and not so subtle, social commentary and themes in my horror films.

Can’t think of another movie that built up tension one way then delivered catharsis in such a different way. If anyone can, I’d be interested to know so I can check it/them out. I feel like SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES (the novel) tried to, but couldn’t pull it off like WEAPONS.
Nothing but upside! You live to see it!
Be original. That is key.
Looking forward to when it comes to streaming, so my gf and I can watch it on our big-screen while eating homemade pizza. 😊
If I may? Don’t wait for streaming. This is one you want to see in a theater with people around. Because the reactions are *amazing*. Best enjoyed as a community viewing. Trust me.
Fuck that. Theaters are overpriced trash where I am stuck in a room with a ton of people, with snacks I don't want and no ability to press pause. That whole community viewing experience is bullshit.
Generally agree. But if you see it at home, see it with a bunch of friends around because it’s worth others’ reactions. Or don’t! I can’t tell you what to do.
Seeing it with my gf, and our kitty. The best company a gal can ask for.
I’ve heard so many good things about the movie. It looks kind of dumb in the trailers, tbh, but supposedly the movie is awesome. Weapons and Sinners. It’s been a great summer for movies.
HOW DID THEY POOP?! SOUP MAKES POOP
I hope he releases a director's cut where he told every actor to do each scene happier and with your mouth open.
Possibly.
Bag that another win for Georgia filmmaking !
