Boring question, anyone use the tunein radio app? Want to listen to football (I live outside the UK) etc, but the BBC are apparently dickheads about vpns, and tunein seemed the least scary alternative.

TuneIn should work, or you can still listen live to the BBC stations via links on the info/FAQ page below, without a VPN. You would need a VPN for some live content, eg sports commentary which is UK-only, and to listen on-demand to most programmes after broadcast www.bbc.com/future/artic...

One quirk to watch out for: in the UK, TuneIn does not offer the BBC stations (by request of the BBC, so that people will use Sounds instead); if you have a VPN running, and try to listen with TuneIn, it won't work.
