we all know he’s a 24/7 bs machine, but when it’s pointed directly at you, you really get to see how it works. our city is amazing, not “hell”, downtown has been uneventful for *years*. yes, there are protests at ICE, one building not downtown. but things are super normal. now… maybe not for long?

Their sheer terror of cities, all cities. He and all his kind and their fear of people and being around large groups of people. I should be used to it by now but every once in a while it catches me off guard and it's shocking all over again how afraid they are.
Also: his brain really was cooked by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, wasn't it? It's never "a big mansion," it's always "the most ELEGANT and LUXURIOUS mansion of ALL TIME." It's never "I don't like Portland," it's "HELL ON EARTH." Fuck that guy.
the thing is, he’s very good at marketing, which means he’s very good at understanding how basic us humans are. he knows that our window to the world is very small, we can only process so much, we crave drama and adrenalin bursts, and we easily dismiss uncomfortable truths. it’s all unfortunate
