All these new images in odd wavelengths sure wreck any feeling that the sun is a reliable old friend who's there to keep us warm and make the crops grow. That clean, perfect round disk is only there because gravity is SO strong.

I've heard our Sun is unusually quite nice and stable for a star of it's size, which has helped with thr evolution of life. Maybe that's coming to end lol
