Almost as tall as me! The ones next to the trellis are in a whiskey barrel which raises them up some.

Holy cow! I have never seen them so huge, that's so cool!
They overwintered and just came back really strong in our warm spring.
I think the tallest ones I have ever seen were under 10 inches. I had no idea they could grow like that. It's judt so wicked cool!
Oh, there are different varieties! Some are just 10-12 inches and some are really tall — I think the rocket ones are taller.
Mind blown. I just love the color on yours and the barrel makes them look so cute, now I am on a quest for Ginormous Snapdragons!
These ones are called Madam Butterfly Bronze if memory serves.
Perfect, thank you so much! It's ridiculous but I live in northern CA so I might try starting some soon anyway
Oh you probably have time. Go for it! If not they may winter over for you too, in a mild climate.
I cant get the hang of the growing season here despite over a decade; I used to grow veggies but that was in a place with snow. I have some annuals that are 8 years old and some things that wither in 3 weeks. Always an adventure.(plus it's my landlord's yard so I'm not gonna spend $$$ amending soil)
The important thing is to have fun! There’s no wrong way to garden.
