Bearing in mind that this means only about 16% of the electorate who voted actually wanted a Starmer led LINO government. Just when you thought the landslide was built on sand, the tide has started to come in and exposed the truth. Half the sand is actually sugar, and it's melting away...
I certainly viewed the Green Party as left in 2024. Was it only me?
The currently dominant faction the GP are the 'Tories w/compost heaps' - the same 20% of Green voters who would NOT vote for a Green/JCZS alliance. They're keen to avoid scaring the horses by admitting that Green action requires left politics. Hence why they don't want Zak to win the leadership.
So on policy you're quite correct, but on optics, the Greens have been v careful not to 'look left' to the NIMBY middle class in Tunbridge Wells.
