It’s bad, and imho it’s bad policy to have these centers so densely concentrated. Local grid failures will have far reaching impacts.

Just off the map (lower right) in the article is Bull Run National Battlefield Park. The next phase of data centers will overlook the park and change its character for generations to come. Sad. But hey google, tell me how much my taxes went down and how much my expenses went up?
