that is pretty handy! I could imagine other kinds of android devices really benefitting from this too So, overall, if I wanna use password sync across devices, you'd recommend bitwarden? Is it a SaaS, or can I self-host it? is it a yearly-fee or does it have a one-time purchase option?

Bitwarden is transparent on all pricing options: bitwarden.com/pricing/. I don't think you need to host your own with them given their zero-knowledge architecture (I've checked it out and it's solid).

I think the zero-knowledge system is robust; I'm more worried about the systems going under at some point, so if their servers are critical, I'd have to switch services 😅 And thanks for the link! I'll peruse it asap🤓

Actually that just reminded me: they do have a self-host option for org: bitwarden.com/help/self-ho...

Bitwarden security architecture ensures zero-knowledge, they only store your encrypted vault, not your derived key or password (From which your key is derived). Their recommendation from their is ideal, SOC2 and ISO 27001.
