the word 'inherent' is significant in what I said

For some the experience IS inherent ("playing" the role in a plausibly deniable way), in the same way that for some people gender dysphoria is inherent, while for others it is not.

Similarly, I know a lot of trans folks for whom SF fandom, furry, RPGs, LARPing, and other apparently unrelated social experiences were, actually, essential and inherent to the process.

Well, yes. What I said is that drag specifically is not inherently broadly applicable to everyone. It would be silly to say that furry which is inherent to me is applicable to everyone. I think that since drag is so prominent it gets more profile.

Sure! I'm not ruling that out. It's not inherently necessary overall is what I said. For me personally and I don't think I am alone, the performative aspect of it was something that I needed to get past as a thing that one had to or is expected to do.

It's just seems like a truism, but if you felt it needed to be said, carry on. :)

I do think these things need to be said from time to time. They pertain more to people who aren't on the binary like me, and I think such statements might seem weird or ignorant to people who are. Up to about WPATH 6? 7? you were supposed to dress up for a few months to get prescribed hormones.

Sometimes I post my opinions and it is sometimes interesting to see how things get parsed, or not.

For me, starting with a negative - "I don't care for X" and then immediately adding "...and I don't think it can be considered Y" reads as an implied criticism.

Yep, and I expected something like this. 300 characters isn't much. But I figure people can pass it by, or assume ignorance, or read it carefully. (In conclusion, I don't like drag. A wzlbot's opinion.)

I admit I am not interested in watching it while of course wholeheartedly defending it. See also: Nerd themed Burlesque. ;)

I'm not saying drag shouldn't exist, gosh. However: Specifically as to "Big Bang Theory" the show, the whole series and offshoots: anathema, excommunication, jihad, countryside re-education camps.

I didn't think you were saying that. All serene.
