In the early 80’s I worked at a IRS call center and the lady who sat next to me hand-smocked dresses for her Granddaughters while explaining estate tax law to callers. She did beautiful work.

One day I hope to be that cool of a lady. My mom gave me the sewing book she used for my smocked dresses in the 80's a few years back, I was only going to make three outfits for my neighbor's baby but I think I'm going to have to make a fourth.
