This can only happen if Democrats gain a significant majority in the House & Senate in the 2026 election. I remember when Richard Nixon was impeached & subsequently resigned. Nixon's actions pale in comparison to those of Donald Trump. The Nixon impeachment was bipartisan. What happened to the GOP?
There might be many GOP who are ready to dump him now. They have to live here too.
I think more of those in the GOP may do so if there are big losses in the 2026 election.
Only if it is free, fair and honest which is highly unlikely. They never forensically reviewed the 2024 election and a case is still pending in New York.
