If you can’t say that genocide is bad and vote like it’s bad, you’ll lose. If you care more about your corporate donors than your suffering constituents, you will lose. If you do not materially deliver for the working class and those who cannot work due to age or disability, you will lose.
People sniff out insincerity on social media like blood hounds and if you’re in office chances are they’re already suspicious of you because they’re accustomed to being let down. You cannot change the aesthetics of the message without changing the messenger.
But all of that requires personal accountability and it’s exhausting because you’re fighting uphill against the status quo and you’ll be targeted and spat on by friends and enemies alike, so instead of fighting for liberation they’ll pay influencers to astroturf & gaslight the public about genocide
Yep! People can sniff out disingenuousness. If you have no policy to backup your posts then people won’t buy it.
