An amusing thing I'm seeing split the TL, not in an adversarial way, is men saying we need to remove cost barriers to having children and women saying "we simply do not want to have additional children"

The costs certainly don't HELP But they aren't as upsetting as subjecting yourself to 40 weeks of body horror from which you will never fully recover.
