That sounds like some of the cooking videos TikTok has been throwing at me recently. I need to work out how to tell their alogrithm that "No, I don't want to see more shockingly bad cooking videos. I only watched the one out of morbid curiosity. Please show me more silly cats, dogs and birds"
I’m very careful in what I say slagging off food reels because some of the stuff that I personally thinks looks unpleasant is specifically ‘on a tight budget’ content, and I know from my own experience that when you’re skint you have to be creative. This wasn’t that though, it was just rank
I agree 100% there. Unfortunately there seems to be a niche of ragebait focused purely on horrific cooking videos. Stuff like “shove this chicken in a jar and then use the dishwasher to cook it”. You can’t tell me that that is legitimate budget cooking, that’s just food poisoning with extra steps.
