I agree the corporations having a stranglehold on the ability for creative to make money is very bad I also think the way they can hoard IP and weapon I've copyright is awful To my knowledge, however, there aren't other protections for smaller creatives
I'd love to exist in a post-scarcity society where artists can just create and be supported by society, but we aren't there yet, and AI doesn't seem like the clear, easy path to getting there
I have very strong opinions on what we as a populace should do about corporations and millionaires/billionaires, but it's best not to openly express that online
Also, how would you propose artsist be compensated for their labor instead of copies sold and royalties
