Discovered this unbelievable Brown-hooded Owlet (Cucullia convexipennis) hiding in the butterfly garden this morning! Nature is amazing #Moths #MothsMatter #TeamMoth #Naturephotography

Close-up of a brown and grey moth that is doing a very serviceable impression of a stick. (He happens to be resting on the photographer's manicure stick, and he looks by far more 'natural.') The patterns on his wings look like a very elaborate wood-graining effect, and he has a stuff tuft above his head in the same colours.
