They have yet to receive the other f16 so no. Ukraine would of gotten older gripen C/D. Before invasion ukraine was in talks abaut Gripen E but deal fell apart. This is the one they wanted and what is discussed now for the future replacement of old f16.
Sweden has something like 48 Gripen C/D models gathering dust today. Those would be as capable as the MLE F-16s that Ukraine did receive; in some aspects vastly superior even (maintenance and road basing in particular).
also, other nations in Europe have gripen, even if it's a dream, some of them could also be donated to Ukraine, not only from Sweden
This was 2024, why no Gripen 2025 then? "On May 28, Jonson announced that Sweden had paused plans to transfer Gripen fighters to Ukraine.. Ukrainian Ambassador to Sweden Andrii Plakhotniuk said on May 29 that Ukraine still needs Swedish Gripen fighter jets."
