EU should make a deal with Ukraine, fast-track them into eu. It could have restricted voting rights as we work to integrate Ukraine into EU. This is a massive step we need to take urgently. Some of Russias motivation to carry on with the war will diminish. Why is nobody talking about this?

I rather they train too much than too little. After all, they are at war. Poland for example doesn't have that pressure. Better to get it right than do it fast.

Doesn't makes sense to depend on US alone. We need cold war armies, this is the only message Russia understand. If one is weaker the other can take over for a bit. Europe and US happened to be weak at the same time so Russia took their chances knowing US is exhausted from previous wars.
