I think loving Spider-Man is about really embracing those key moments unreservedly and without equivocation.

The thing that really inspired younger me about Spider-Man despite being mostly a DC head was that Spider-Man was about doing the right thing even when things were difficult and life sucked. A lot of heroes at the time made doing the right thing look easy and it never was for Pete
