There are not many licenses in this AAA+ tier that you would make these accommodations for. That said I find Alchemy, and Arena-exclusive Magic formats, much more aggravating and long term problematic because they just happen with little spotlight that it does. Seems more ripe for confusion.
I think it is unfortunate that they have to do it this way but I don’t think it rises to the level of a non-starter for making the product.
As someone who was skipped ahead in school I wished I could have been left back a grade for gym class.
Been listening to a lot of REM again lately. I burned out on them in the 80s but it has been great to “rediscover” so many songs.
The universe is taunting me that I still have a couple of non-gold jokers to go in Balatro before I can cross off all the achievements.
Looking that up it sounds VERY sweet but I will keep my eye out for it.
The Sangre Morlocco really puts it over the top (plus my local places are all out of Charteuses)

There used to be a a guy who worked at Forbidden Planet named Spyder. He was a real Spicoli type and he would invariably answer the phone: “Hello this is Spyder man….no, not Spyder-Man; it’s Spyder…maaaan.”
They are amazing! Excited to see this tech advance into actual cards.

I also have a bonus #MTGxSpiderMan preview card which is fittingly from the Bonus Sheet and is a new version of Relentless Assault -- a perfect summary of Spider-Man's everyday life. I have already booked my #MTGxSpiderMan prerelease for Sept 20th -- a perfect collision of all my obsessions.
The more you pile on the more he can take. It perfectly captures the essence of a character I have been obsessed with going back all the way to that long-ago trip to the barber shop. A character in an endless battle to protect both the city and his loved ones. #MTGxSpiderman
No other character carried the weight that Spider-Man did. The deaths that all drove him to protect not just the people he loved but anyone who was being victimized by bullies and criminals. Uncle Ben's words echo in my #MTGxSpiderMan preview card. “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility”

There was a fantastic shop that opened in my neighborhood called Here’s a Bookstore that sold back issues of comics. I started going there looking for the next piece of my puzzle. That’s where I found this issue... and another terrible gut punch. #MTGxSpiderMan
It was the first time I read Spider-Man’s origin and was utterly devastated by the death of Uncle Ben, who died after Peter failed to intervene is a store holdup. It was a gut punch to read and suddenly, more than ever, I had to find out everything about Peter Parker. #MTGxSpiderMan
Folks take for granted how easy it is to find stuff today but back then comic shops were few and far between. I did not fully appreciate Spider-Man until I got my mitts on a book that reprinted the origin stories of what we now know of as the ubiquitous MCU characters. #MTGxSpiderMan
My next exposure to Spidey was through the Ralph Bakshi cartoon which had come out years early and was in syndication at the time. It started to fill in some holes about who this character was. 🎼Is he strong? Listen bud! He’s got radioactive blood!🎼 #MTGxSpiderMan

It was a wild time in the 80s where New Wave and Punk and Reggae and Hip Hop Hop and Disco were all blending together and creating unexpected chart toppers or in the case of many of songs I suggested chart placers.
Happy to suggest deeper cuts but those all felt like you would have gotten there eventually.

While researching the Blood & Sand Cocktail, I came across across what I believe to be the earliest mention of a bar having Happy Hour specials. Allen Rich & Bill Bush's column "Dining, Dancing, Entertainment" in the Valley Times, November 25, 1949, in a mention of Phil Kenny's Cafe, in Hollywood.
