defect is my favorite <3 I had a couple failed runs where I tried to force a claw deck and then finally a good shiv run with silent that let me sleep lol my problem is I tend to decide what kind of run I want early and the refuse to adapt when the rng doesn't follow my plan lol

I do the same thing haha 😅 I have too much fun playing with orbs and forget to get the high power/defense cards Same with Silent, I love just cycling 0 cost cards like Shiv

do you play at the same ascension or are you climbing up/challenging yourself? I still haven't beat a20 with watcher but I hate her so I probably never will lol if I'm playing for insomnia/depression reasons it's all a9 speed runs oh no now I'm also talking about StS that can't be good haha

I’m still a scrub and pretty low on the ascension levels haha 😅 I think I prefer it to be a comfortable level of challenge, because whenever I get far into a run and die I have to take like a break for 30 minutes to an hour You can talk StS to me whenever!!

yay!! do not ask me how many hours I have in StS hahaha it's definitely my comfort game <3 I love it because it's challenging and every run feels different so it doesn't get boring. definitely my favorite roguelike deck builder type thing

It’s definitely becoming that for me, I enjoyed Balatro but it sometimes feels too mathy for me and I also just like the combat aesthetic of sts

Balatro has been fun but you're right it requires too much focus to relax. but I do enjoy when i get some good synergy and stuff pops off I also enjoy dicey dungeons until it got ridiculously hard & i got stuck lol monster train was okay and I liked the art on it. did you play them at all?

Yeah I did play dicey dungeons! That one’s really cute, and the rounds don’t feel too long. I recently played a few runs of that and remembered how much I had fun with it

yeah I think the art style is super cute and it's fun to go back to every now and then. maybe one day I'll even beat it haha
