Yeah it's in that realm depending on how the tone lands for you I think. It was a little too silly in parts for me, and like, the wimp kid shoulda just stood up for himself. But its also just bloody fun

Yeah I'm not expecting rich characterization or anything but it just gets a little boring when every character is so thin and unlikable like it doesn't take much to give them a little color so you can connect to them and for there to be a little higher stakes. Final Destination does it all the time!

The way my friend described it is as a journey of a man encountering increasingly weirder people until he reaches the final boss who is the weirdest person in the world

I did enjoy the Oz Perkins cameo quite a bit
