Specifically speaking, it was her husband who violated her privacy and shared pictures of her without her permission and did who knows what else. But if she admits she was able to love and trust someone that hurt her, she'd live even more afraid of all the men she trusts around her every day.
If she can just find another scapegoat instead to blame, she doesn't have to admit she's in a party full of rapists who defend pedophiles, people who victim blame her, misogynists, etc. It's just easier to blame trans ppl in bathrooms than admit she is constantly in danger all the time where she is.
