Don’t worry guys, Trump fired the person in charge of labor statistics. That means the job losses won’t exist, and in fact we’ll gain millions of jobs every month!
Americans will believe this and it’ll make destitution and poverty much easier to bear.
If you want a preview, check out what’s happening with drastic reductions in international students at Ontario universities and colleges
10,000 college jobs cut, 1/6 of the college workforce. It's so bad the province didn't tell us the college job amount for 6 months, and haven't told us the university cuts either
Necessary unfortunately. Too many grifty colleges that were diploma mills for the means of getting PR.
Not unfair, but the tuition freeze and lack of mitigation funding are a disaster. The cuts to staff is making placements for students a real issue, and this is in fields with significant shortages
Yep, the tuition freeze since 2018 predates most unnecessary private college partnerships & increases in intl students
I don't think most people realize that cutting intl's reduces program options for local students. If a program needs 50 students to be viable and 30 students are local, cutting intl's 50%(20 down to 10) means cancelling the program. Those 30 local students go elsewhere or don't study
I haven’t seen any regional college campus cuts yet, but I’ve seen a ton of programs cut. It’s ugly and getting worse
