I have to re-read Hope Dies Last every few years when my Fluoxetine isn’t hitting correctly and I begin to seriously contemplate quitting this hustle to work in sponsorship sales or something.
Working is truly one of the best books I’ve ever read. Studs was truly one of the best at producing work that reflected the dignity of every single human. If you didn’t come away from his books loving and appreciating your fellow man more, I don’t know what to tell you.
This really is a new college football season. Kickers are awesome now, and it was Notre Dame, NOT Miami, that did something stupid in a late clock situation.

Not quite! Not everybody was in the CFA, and schools/leagues left because they faced the same antitrust exposure the NCAA faced from Regents. Without the SBA exception, combining the rights is illegal, whether the NCAA or a trade group does it.
