I was fortunate enough to NOT pick up trash but God knows... I scraped, sanded, prepared surface (metal), primed, & painted enough that after I got out I could have been a professional painter! Also, I advanced to E-3 six months after boot camp so didn't do the E-2 thing very long! 🤣👍
