I never plan to own a pickup. If I find myself needing one, I'll rent it. Ill only buy one if I somehow end up in construction/contracting as a job and it would make sense.

You can’t get hilux or the Ford Ranger in the US? The hilux is possibly dear, but the Ford should be cheaper

The hilux is big in Australia, and the Ford Ranger was developed there. They even fit on British roads over here

Hilux is not available for sale in the US, though much older models can be imported

A lot of pros and Mexicans here in TX still use older pickups without all of the crew cabs and bells and whistles.
