Let’s be honest. Carswell is not alone. You don’t tweet unless you know it’s a popular belief. There are many in public roles, in pubs and at dinner tables who believe this. This is a persecution of Muslims in the UK and anyone with any sense of humanity, who cares about Britain must call this out .
It’s utterly disgusting and shows how the country has been dragged down to this level in the last 10 years. We have issues in our small village in rural Devon being stoked by this. Was reading yesterday about a Mosque removing a Union flag from a nearby fence which had obviously been placed there to intimidate. They then put it in their window. What a brilliant reaction that, if done nationwide, would put a very sharp needle in that racist balloon. IMHO.
