That's not what makes him a fascist. What makes him a fascist is what makes Democrats fascist. That they uphold capitalist exploitation and US imperialism. That they're perfectly comfortable with children being bombed overseas if they can be comfortable in the imperial core.
They uphold the system because it hurts the people they hate the most. Capitalism harms the same people fascism does.
That's because fascism is capitalism in decay. Fascism is colonialism turned inwards. Just because the fascism was inflicted on others and not the imperial core, until now, doesn't mean it wasn't still fascism.
Actually capitalism is fascism. They cannot and do not exist separately.

You do you, but this kind of shit is what feeds the stereotypes of the rabid, irrational progressive. There’s a viable argument that “plants” like you are placed on social media to destroy the promise of progressivism. A shame, because progressivism actually had a chance for a while.
'Progressivism' is just another meaningless word for Neoliberalism, the very same ideology that sleepwalked us into fascism. You only care about any version of capitalism that allows you to enjoy your comforts in the imperial core, but you don't actually care about ending systems of exploitation.

Hey we all know what we're good at an what our means are. I try to engage in activism, but live in a rural community, so I don't often get the chance. So I primarily play the role of agitator and propagandist. A sticker and flyer here and there, and bit of posting on social media.
Just doing my best to push Overton window leftward, mostly.
What I’ve spent my life so far doing - raising responsible, independent kids, working to protect and support marginalized groups, and a professional life focused on populations in need, no observable devotion to accumulating excess wealth - speaks to what I care about.
I mean that's good. Like no complaints here. But by and large, what do you feel should be done with the system as a whole? Do you believe it's broken and needs reform, or do you believe it's working exactly as intended and needs to be dismantled?
We need constitutional reform, but that sharp blade cuts in a multitude of ways, and unanticipated potential adverse outcomes abound.
But we have made strides in opting more people into the system. Still pitifully slow and inadequate. But I haven’t seen another political-economic system that offers better chances of improving peoples’ lives. Certainly we’re backsliding alarmingly.

In true socialism the government owns the resources, means of production and means of distribution. I haven’t found a system like that which credibly showed the benefits you list without adopting some free market principles.

Social democratic systems have demonstrably associated with huge improvement in commerce, education, home ownership, and health. But they all ultimately lean free market with robust safety nets. How many of your examples of “socialism” are really social democratic?

And I think there’s a credible case to be made that a semi-free market with controls to moderate excess accumulation of wealth and a truly robust social support net is the best achievable system.
That does nothing to address capitalist exploitation of the Imperial periphery (the rest of the world) to enrich imperial core (the western hegemony, mainly the US). As I surmised before, you only seem to care about what would make the imperial core more comfortable.
