They want the spotlight and think that's the place to get it.
They want the spotlight and think that's the place to get it.
That explains why they want to go to WWE generally. It doesn't explain why it has to be right now to the point that they give up any leverage they might have had.
Because their career can end at any moment. They want to do everything as soon as possible because it could all be over at any time. Which is the one thing I can actually agree with.
That would make sense if these people didn't all spurn WWE for AEW initially. Why not sign with WWE in the first place?
Stupidity of youth?
Many of those people are in their late 30s, though.
You just like to poke holes in everything, don't you? Lol Wizards did it, I don't know. I'm not a doctor not did I play one on TV!
If you think talking to me is frustrating, try being me.
I'm convinced that the world is terrible because information and ideas are always framed stupidly. Wrestling is particularly bad about this. People accept stuff that makes no sense because nobody questions certain things.
I think the main reason we get along is we're both crazy, no offense. I know some people don't like being called crazy. Someone calls me crazy, that's a compliment.
You won't get any argument from me. It's very difficult to offend me personally, and I have no problem admitting that my brain isn't regular.
If they've been scraping by doing indie dates, those big paychecks have to look really, really good.
I don't know, that wizard thing that one guy said seems to be really smart. Lol
I mean Matt Cardona said he makes more on the Indies than he ever did in WWE.
Because they knew if they did go to WWE right then and there they would have been treated like shit and ended up in AEW after 3-4 years anyway. If you make yourself a big star elsewhere you at least have a shot at being treated as a big deal.
Look at Cody. He quit WWE and started a rival company solely to make them acknowledge his worth so he could go back. Also none of the ones that went were even offered a WWE contract until they were in AEW.
The idea that none of them were offered contracts is a retcon. WWE was always trying to sign those people according to the wrestlers as well as rumors. Then, when they got to WWE, they announced that that wasn't true, actually, and everyone believed it for some reason.
Cody went back to WWE because he thinks the point of Paradise Lost is that it's better to serve in hell than serve in heaven. He actually did increase his value to WWE by working for AEW, but he still took a pay cut since he went back because Tony Khan wouldn't let him be in charge.
I think that last part is the biggest reason he left AEW. He wanted to be the boss in AEW but his and Brandi's ideas sucked and he really didn't wanna listen to the people there who had great ideas. Same with The Pepsi Man, who has never wanted to listen.
I'm pretty sure Cody actually went back to WWE because he's threatened by Dustin since he is named after their dad, and that makes Cody sad. CM Punk has basically confirmed that he only signed with AEW to cause problems, so WWE would want to bring him back.
Both are whiny babies who can't seem to get over little slights at them. I gave up my grudges when high school ended, but I'm also not a moron like those two. Lol
