"Isnt it better we switch-out with a fair chunk of time to let the new leader settle in, ready for the GE?", i suspect will be the question the labour party ask themselves.

If Andy Burnham runs in a by-election. His out. Otherwise it's Angela Rayner for leadership asap. The sooner the better. Plus hire some teenagers to do there social media.

And? Everyone slated as a possible to replace Starmer is just as bad, or worse, and will carry on in the same vein. Labour needs root and branch reform, not a bit of light deadheading.

Step 1. Get rid of 'Blue Labour'. Anyone in that group is a Tory and has no place in a left wing party.

Agreed Starmer isn't popular but then what? He resigns tomorrow, who is the next leader? They'll still get hammered by the rightwing media and by the left as Red Tories I think we are looking at Trump style Farage government regardless

This is why Press-Reg and Social Media reg is essential. Labour either see that or they do not. Currently they're operating in a "Windows Vista autopilot is flying this 747" kinda capacity.
