"No tax rises on working people" is in the manifesto. I'd playfully speculate said manifesto may not be a particularly credible document come next month.

What tax rises for working people have been announced?
Do you think there'll be tax *cuts* in the Autumn statement?
Could you answer my question first please
None (yet) but if you think we will not see tax rises with the debt as it is, bond interest rates as they are and cuts voted down as they were - you are dreaming. The alternative is more cuts and/or a wealth tax, and Labour have ruled that out. So how are you imagining they’ll avoid this?
None, thank you. There a many taxes that do not affect working people that can be reformed, raised or adjusted. Such as CGT, inheritance tax or a new property or land tax.
