The bold thing to do here would be to curtail and calm-down the source(s) of the disinfo that are radicalising people into believing such nonsense. But it seems Starmer harbours no aspiration to get involved whatsoever - even if all this could quite reasonably, *ultimately* bring him down...

Yup. The only thing Labour said over the weekend is that they want to “reform” the ECHR so that nobody has a right to a family life. If someone still supports Labour then they’re not remotely left wing, no amount of mental cartwheels changes that (*looks at Phil Moorehouse*)

If we take this weekend for example. We've seen masked men going into an asylum hotel. A chinese takeaway spray painted with racist grafitti. An NHS worker assaulted in a park. Civil unrest in Canary Wharf. Where is the Prime Minister?

Where is the Yvette Cooper to denounce such "hate marches", to proscribe the groups behind the civil unrest as terrorist cells? Or does that only happen if they're carrying red paint? And NOT if they paint a roundabout, only if they paint some plane fuselage.

Such absence of leadership, responsibility and moral courage is near-on unforgivable. And in that absence steps Farage, Tice and Tommy.

Labour are a big part of the problem, their only response is to drive rightwards & legitimise all this guff I can’t see how anyone to left of Liz Truss can support them 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's weird. I literally talk to people everyday to remind them that the Tyne & Wear of 2025 is a lot more safer and pleasant than the Tyne & Wear of the 1980s/90s, and with a lot less crime. They have accepted a perception which their own eyes and ears will show them is wrong. But they believe X.

And the vast majority of antisocial problems in Tyne & Wear are caused by white local chavs. Which was the same in the 80s/90s, but because a lot of people were kids then, they don't recall themselves as being troublemakers. They just think of themselves as kids who were having fun and capers. Twats

Oh i dont doubt it. That's what it's ALWAYS about. *WE* make the mistake of debating & attempting to nuke stories with facts. By that point, they are already focused on the next conspiracy theory, the next slop of fear. It's shaping/selling narratives to foment a perception that sticks.

See America 2025 if you need proof. We have quite literally had our government ousted by a bunch of tech bros running the misinformation machine. Some didn't even have to put a foot on the congressional floor to do so. It's a slippery slope with very little to grab hold of one you start down it.

Also, where are the people shouting for them to be locked up as if they were pro Palestine or JSO?
