Don’t lump us in with them. They should have high expectations and be arrogant. We’re fully aware of our history. I apologize on behalf of the entire fanbase for getting excited for being competitive for 8 of the past 15 years after 25 years of slop.

i remember in 2008 i was at spring training, and i mentioned to my co workers to watch the brewers, and my forecast has proven true, except for the one thing everyone always basis "greatest" on, and that is the championship. Marino is a prime example in football.

Except it’s fair to measure a team’s greatness on championships. Whereas anointing individuals goat status based solely on team titles is foolish.

I’m sorry. I must’ve missed when someone claimed the Brewers were the greatest franchise in MLB. We simply want acknowledgement that we’re simply good this season. Not luck merchants or anything else. Simply good. It’s okay to admit teams are good. The Cubs are good. It’s not hard to do.

and i'll more than happily admit the brewers have been a good team since 2008, when i saw them in spring training, i was impressed at how they played in Maryville, and i even told people they were a team to watch. and the brewers are a perennial threat, but without trophies, they are "also rans"
