@magnatom.bsky.social I joined a call this morning to show and state support for A807 redetermination and speed limit reduction. Was outnumbered by objectors stating the same old nonsense, but not outgunned and thankfully it’s still all going ahead. Was mention of “cyclists with helmet cameras”

Council officers were actually great at making the case. I made quite an impassioned plea for something that may have been a foregone conclusion! Will try to post something on safer streets Bearsden substack later.
I'd completely missed the 20mph thread on the Bearsden & Milngavie Facebook page until now. The guy suggesting that Bearsden is one of the 'safest places in the entire world' has got to be satirical.... surely?! 🤣
