Just finished translating it for the site, it'll run tomorrow. The only way Pissy Eh is winning the MVP is if he defunkifies himself somehow (*magic* or wishing well, coz he seldom learns anything), has a fab series this week, and carries a stinky team deep into October.
Appreciate the translation, as always! What the Cubs do in October won't be a factor because they conclude the voting at the end of the regular season. Never rule out a spontaneous defunkification. Baseball is weird.
Then he has to go 20-25, 4HR, 18RBI, 6SB, three all-time catches in CF and maybe a walkoff this week. And maybe even go back to his summer self for September, and still win. But, HAVE YOU SEEN THE CUBS LATELY!!!!
I’d have agreed that he had a shot 6 weeks ago; no way he’s a contender now.
