The only two reactors to come online in the last 10 years, and in the same state, were constructed beginning nearly 20 years ago (ok, so not 40). www.eia.gov/todayinenerg... At that breakneck pace, we should reach nuclear moon power any year now.
As for βmore on the way,β would love to hear your solutions for nuclear waste disposal; huge capital construction costs and overruns typical of 10+ yr builds; terrorism defense; and NIMBY arguments, especially in populous blue states (most recent onlines are in GA and TN, monolithic red states).
