Sometimes I look at a box of donuts for $3 and calculate that I'll need about $30 of insulin to cover their carbs.

this makes me think of at the grocery store the other day, i bought a single slice of cake, that was it, went to checkout, cashier asked if i'd like to donate to diabetes research, my response "Yeah sure, as a Type2 indulging in some cake right now, makes sense."
