No mention by the local BBC of 'his commitment to social care'. He must have forgotten about that in the run up to the election. Or maybe it's another reason why he's stood down so soon? 🤔 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I feel sorry for social care, that bigot wants a career in it.

Send the costs for running a by-election to Reform for failing to select candidates willing to do the job.

There was a bunch of shocked and upset Reform councillors in, I think, Staffordshire, who said hey hadn't realised what they'd let themselves in for, had well paying jobs they didn't want to give up.

I think Farage expected Reform to come a close second in the local elections, rather than win. Just like Brexit.

During the Brexit negotiations Farage et al could just sit on the sidelines shouting 'that's not how I would have done it'. Now they'll actually be held accountable and they'll be shown for the charlatans they are. Once Reform get a bit of power, the public will realise Farage isn't the messiah...

Let's hope so. There's always a percentage of the electorate that will never admit they are wrong about anything/anyone. Their pride is more important than the good of the country despite calling themselves patriots.

This is definitely true, speaking from experience. Take most hardcore Reform voters. Look at where they set their bar for Starmer. and then Farage. They'll make any excuse for NF, whilst hammering Starmer for the slightest misstep. They're in their own feedback loop.

Have I missed something here? Was Farage paying these people loads of money to stand, or something? This is not coincidence that a number are resigning, surely?

They probably thought councillors do nothing so get elected do nothing but get paid loads Now I wonder what right wing trash put that idea in their heads?🤔
